Typical course sequence for a Secondary Education Mathematics Major

The 33 credits comprising a Secondary Education Mathematics Major are often taken in the following sequence:

SecondMath 231: Multivariable IMath 232: Multivariable II

AND

Math 280: Bridge to Higher Math
Third[Math 331 OR Math 341]

AND

[Math 321/323 OR Math 351]		Math 311-312: Statistics
Fourth[Math 331 OR Math 341]

AND

[Math 321/323 OR Math 351]		Student Teaching


All of the courses listed above are required.

Math 321, 331, 341, and 351 are offered every fall semester.

Math 323 is offered in the fall semester of even years.

Math 280 and Math 311-312 are offered every spring semester.
