Name: Bread Dough

 

Abstract: There are several factors that are said to affect how much bread dough rises. Yeast bread recipes recommend using warm water for yeast activation as well as setting the dough in a warm environment. This study examines how time, air temperature, and water temperature affect rising bread dough.

 

Variables (column):

  1. Water Temperature (0=Hot, 1=Lukewarm)
  2. Location (0=Oven, 1=Counter)
  3. Time (minutes)
  4. Height (inches)
