Name: Hope Student Survey 2008


Abstract: Hope students were emailed a survey.Questions asked about demographics and personal habits, most of which related to Hope College.Three hundred and fifteen participantsí responses were recorded.

  2. ClassStanding (1=Freshman, 2=Sophomore, 3=Junior, 4=Senior)
  3. GPA
  4. ResStatus (Residential Status at Hope College, 1=Dorm, 2=Hope Apartment, 3=Commuter, 4=Off Campus)
  5. Urbanicity (Where Participant Grew Up, 1=Urban, 2=Suburbs, 3= Rural)
  6. ParentsMarital (Participantís Parentsí Marital Status, 0=Not Married, 1=Married)
  7. Religion (Participantís Religion)
  8. SmallGroup (Participant is in a Small Group or Bible Study, 0=No, 1=Yes)
  9. Religiousity (1=Not Religious, 2=Not Very Religious, 3=Somewhat Religious, 4= Quite Religious, 5=Very Religious)
  10. AttendChurch (Frequency Participant Attends Church, 1=Never, 2=Occasionally, 3=Regularly)
  11. AttendGathering (Frequency Participant Attends The Gathering, 1=Never, 2=Occasionally, 3=Regularly)
  12. AttendChapel (Frequency Participant Attends Chapel, 1=Never, 2=Occasionally, 3=Regularly)
