Name: Identify Cola Brand with Temperature

 

Abstract: The purpose of this experiment was to see if the ability to distinguish between name-brand and generic-brand cola is affected by the temperature of the drink.  An experiment using Coca-Cola and Meijer cola was conducted, with 92 participants from the Hope campus. 

 

Variables (column):

  1. Gender (0=Female, 1=Male)
  2. Temperature (0=Room Temperature, 1=Cold)
  3. First Drink (0=Meijer Cola, 1=Coca-Cola)
  4. Age (years)
  5. Frequency Drinking Pop (1=Rarely, 2=Occasionally, 3=Frequently)
  6. Preferred Temperature (0=Room Temperature, 1=Cold)
  7. Correct Answer (0=No, 1=Yes)
  8. Day (out of 2)

 

Possible Uses: Binary Logistic Regression, Chi Square
