Name: Influence of TV Advertisements

 

Abstract: A survey was given to a random sample of Hope College students to determine what factors may influence a personís perceived influence of TV advertisements on his purchases of necessary items such as groceries and toothpaste.

 

Variables (column):

  1. Gender (0=Female, 1=Male)
  2. Age
  3. Meal plan through Hope College (0=Not on meal plan, 1=On meal plan)
  4. Times per month the respondents shopped for groceries or other necessities
  5. Hours per week the respondent watches TV and plays videogames
  6. Hours per week the respondent spends working at a job
  7. Influenced by advertisements when buying groceries or other necessities (0=No, 1=Yes)

 

 

Possible Uses:Logistic Regression, Independent Sample T Test, 2 Proportions
