Name: Milgram’s Experiment


Abstract: This data is from S. Milgram’s experiment on obedience to authority.  He had 160 participants in the experiment.  He had a person of authority ask the participant to shock a “learner” when they got a question wrong.  The data shows how high in volts the participants were willing to shock the “learner” when asked by authority and also where the participant was located in respect to the “learner”.

  2. Proximity (1=Remote, 2=Voice, 3=Same Room, 4=Touch Hands)
