Name: Rubber Band Data

 

Abstract:  This experiment was looking at the question could a company save money by purchasing a different brand of rubber bands?  This experiment measured a rubber band by how far (in inches) it would stretch before it broke.  50 Meijer rubber bands were used from the Meijer store on US 31, 50 Meijer rubber bands were used from the Meijer store on 16th Street, and 100 rubber bands were used from the Alliance Brand (in Hope Bookstore).

 

Variables (columns):

  1. Meijer on 31 (Meijer brand of rubber bands bought at the Meijer store on US 31-measured in inches)
  2. Meijer on 16 (Meijer brand of rubber bands bought at the Meijer store on 16th Street-measured in inches)
  3. Alliance (Hope Bookstore brand of rubber bands-measured in inches)
  4. Meijer All (Meijer on 31 and Meijer in 16 in same column)

 

Possible Uses: ANOVA, 2-Samples T-Test
