Explorations in Geometry

Home | Preface | Table of Contents | Sample Exploration: Fractals

This book contains twelve explorations that are suitable to use as enrichment for a high school geometry course or a general education college mathematics course. The topics included in the explorations (such as tesselations, fractals, the golden ratio, and drawing in perspective) are not the core topics that are usually included in a geometry course. They are, however, ones that I (and hopefully the students) find intrinsically interesting.

The links above give you access to the preface, table of contents and a sample exploration. If you are interested in using any of these explorations in your course, send me an email (swansont@hope.edu) and I will send you a complementary copy of all twelve explorations to use in your class.
