Jill VanderStoep

Welcome! As a 1987 Hope graduate, I was excited to join the faculty in 1999. Currently I teach GEMS 100: Understanding our Quantitative World, Math 210: Introduction to Statistics and upper level statistics classes 311 and 312. My interests are in the field of statistical education. Currently I am working on an introductory statistics textbook with Todd Swanson and five other authors from three different colleges/universities.

I love to play volleyball (indoor and beach) and tennis. You will often see me and my husband, Scott (Psychology), supporting our three children at various West Ottawa and Hope sporting events.
